Rucksacks.

I am so excited that rucksacks are looking to be a big thing this summer. There is something about wearing a rucksack and clinging on to the straps as you walk that is so '90's'. I have loved them since my very first 'forever friends' rucksack right back when I was a little tot. Since then they haven't really been top of the radar, so to speak. So when I walked into Accessorize the other day and saw one in the most lovely navy and white striped fabric, I was overwhelmed with childhood nostaglia and the prospect of summer festivals. I promptly returned home to trawl the internet, hoping that they were being produced elsewhere too. The most popular prints seem to ikat/aztec, which is perfect for boho summer dressing. To be honest, I would quite happily center my outfit around a brightly coloured ikat rucksack. Some denim shorts, a little black top, gladiator sandals and some Ray Bans and you are set to go. I also really love the leather one from Topshop too. It's a more grown-up approach to rucksacks, with a nod to the 90's. So here are my top picks:
